[ Venture Launch Mission ]
To develop and launch successful business ventures that build wealth, empower entrepreneurs, and employ people in the process.
The “Venture Launch Boot Camp” is an intensive four week program that immerses potential entrepreneurs in the business start-up process. Boot Camp participants are limited to around 20 people to ensure a collaborative effort that is anything but a classroom style approach. The goal of the boot camp is to have attendees launch actual businesses and is targeted at:
- Those who have always dreamed of starting their own business.
- Anyone who has considered self-employment or full commission independent office professions .
- The recently unemployed who would like to use their skills and ideas to earn an income full or part time.

Each Venture Launch Boot Camp session is 4 hours and covers the following:
- Session 1 – Exploring Your Ideas, Market Research and Business Planning
- Session 2 – Marketing Techniques and Building an Operations Plan
- Session 3 – Business Registration and Financing
- Session 4 – Financial Projections, Building Your Pitch and Final Q & A
Venture Launch Weekend is a condensed version of the four week boot camp held over a Friday 4 hour evening session and a full 8 hour session held on Saturday. While there is less time for plan development the core materials are covered and collaborative exercises are held over the eight hour session including a working lunch.

About the Presenter Donovan Wadholm has worked with the Small Business Development Centers since 2003 and currently is the regional director for the Fargo area. Since that time he has helped start over 150 businesses, raise over $60 Million in debt and equity capital and trained thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners. Donovan has a Business Administration degree from the University of North Dakota with major in finance and an MBA from the University of Mary.
